What We’re Looking For

Are you energized by all things internet? Do you thrive in developing, managing, and maintaining beautiful, informative, and responsive websites? We’re looking for an experienced website guru to join our team! Our different approach to healthcare has helped tens of thousands of patients restore their health and improve their quality of life, and our Website Administrator will help us continue to broaden our impact and reach.

In this role your main responsibility will be developing, managing, and maintaining our numerous websites and online platforms. You’ll intentionally strive to create online spaces that project our brand, connect with our audience, and utilize the latest digital technologies to communicate our message. You will be responsible for helping to oversee various online presences, including websites, LMS platforms, and ecommerce platforms.

To carry out this role successfully you should have exceptional skills in troubleshooting and problem solving, as well as outstanding customer service skills to respond to support emails. You’ll need to actively stay on top of digital technology and media trends, always expressing a willingness to learn the best practices. You should also be a rockstar communicator that can effectively express our company’s views. At The Wellness Way, collaboration is in our DNA. Position Summary

  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the organization’s websites
  • Respond to and troubleshoot web issues
  • Identify and respond to all website security breaches
  • Ensure that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures
  • Update HTML, CSS, and JavaScript regularly
  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information
  • Assist in creating appropriate content aligned to the organization’s strategy
  • Ensure web/platform quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans
  • Improve the user experience of sites regularly
  • Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that sites align with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards
  • Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites

Core Attributes

  • You have a degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related qualification.
  • You have 2 years of work experience as a website manager.
  • You are highly proficient in Macromedia suite, Adobe suite, content management systems, and W3C web standards.
  • You have a ninja-like knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL, and JavaScript
  • You hold a thorough understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC).
  • You are super confident working with WordPress website publishing and have experience with complex themes.
  • You possess a rockstar ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are 10,000% reliable, organized, and never miss a deadline.
  • Your brain is analytical and detail-oriented with a knack for solving problems.
  • You manage your time like a boss and don’t need to be micromanaged.
  • You have strong customer service skills (people love you!).
  • You are a natural at generating creative and engaging content.
  • You work effectively and positively within a team environment.
  • If you have a Magento certification, that’s a plus!
